TeleMedik started its operation in 1997, under the leadership of it current President and CEO Dr. Joaquin Fernández-Quintero, M.D. The idea and purpose of developing a telephone triage center was stated along with a small group of professionals from diverse backgrounds and fields. From its very beginning, this group of entrepreneurs took advantage of the newest technologies and created a flexible triage platform focusing in the needs and requirements of their clients. This approach allows our organization to customize our services to meet our clients' needs while maintaining the highest standard of clinical quality. Combining the skills and expertise of physicians and professional nurses, we are addressing the needs of multi-cultural Spanish speaking citizens within the United States and Puerto Rico.
