TeleMedik
nurses advice begins when a call comes into the medical
call center telephone switch. All calls are human answered
by our nurse staff. The nurses select the most appropriate
protocol and quickly review the preliminary information
in that protocol (i.e. the differential diagnoses). Hipocrates®
guides the nurse through a series of triage question (from
most critical to least critical). This algorithmic software
generates recommended dispositions based on the answers
to these questions. The nurse are able to document their
clinical impressions, as well as using information from
the final dispositions and recommended actions screen
including them into the nurses notes section of the software.
This will make nurses notes a permanent part of the call
record.
